PURPOSE:
Helping people and organizations go from theory to praxis.
VISION:
To popularize anti-racism + feminism as a sociopolitical framework for the sole purpose of building a more multi-racial, multi-gendered, intergenerational, and multi-issue anti-racist coalition through the use of theory, facilitation, curating space, digital media, and feminist consciousness-raising tools.
MISSION:
We help people, organizations, and brands operationalize their commitment to deepen and enhance their social justice ethic and anti-racist practices.
ABOUT ME:
My name is Lutze (loot-see) Segu, aka The Social Justice Doula. I accompany and assist organizations, brands, and individual clients in operationalizing anti-racism, feminism, and social justice in their personal and professional lives. I am a Ph.D. candidate studying Gender, Race, Sexuality, and Social Justice. As a multi-hyphenate, all the work I do as The Social Justice Doula is part of my sociopolitical practice/activism that is rooted in Black feminism. I also hold a Masters in Social Work and I am trained in trauma-informed care, as well as restorative and transformative justice. I am the platonic love fairy godmother and have now made it part of my mission to help women and gender-expansive people make friends and to prioritize platonic intimacies in their lives.
